Koloa Sugar Mill Race

Yael's first running race was November 3 and it was a success. I placed 1st in my division in the 5K and overall came in 26 out of 128. Not bad.

Best in Show

This weekend was the Love a Dog Day at the Kauai Humane Society Dog Park. At the last minute we decided to take the pups and Madison won first place for best trick. Olin threw a fast pitch with her tennis ball and she caught it like a champ. She tied for first with another dog and had a trick off where she caught a high flyer and the crowd went wild. Buddy didn't take home any trophies but did end up in the finals for the high jump. Unfortunately, he decided it was too hot during the finals, and didn't want to jump anymore. There's always next year...
