Everything is going really well here in New York. The dogs are getting more comfortable and we are learning our way around the new neighborhood. We have been eating really well and getting our workouts in. Olin has completed his first week of locksmithing and seems to enjoy it, while Yael is still enjoying her month off!
We are looking forward to Nishan and Jenny coming to visit on Wednesday.

The Destination

Settling in to the new house has been interesting. The first few days were very cold, but it let up after that. The house is nice and very busy with 6 people, 5 dogs, and 5 horses. Buddy is very interested in the horses, and cuddling by the fireplace. There have been a few dog fights with Dutch, the pitbull, but he is learning to be friendly with the help of his new shock collar. We have been mostly hanging out at home, helping with the house and getting used to our new neighborhood of Smithtown. We haven't started working yet and are enjoying the free time with lots of walks in the park, shopping, and eating lots of Italian food.

The Journey

We left Kauai on November 2nd. The dogs were very tired from a long run earlier in the day. They didn't cry or bark. They boarded the plane and slept the entire time.

We got to New York the next day where Yael's family picked us up. After using the shrubery in JFK's parking lot, the dogs were at ease and ready to see their new home.
