Best in Show

This weekend was the Love a Dog Day at the Kauai Humane Society Dog Park. At the last minute we decided to take the pups and Madison won first place for best trick. Olin threw a fast pitch with her tennis ball and she caught it like a champ. She tied for first with another dog and had a trick off where she caught a high flyer and the crowd went wild. Buddy didn't take home any trophies but did end up in the finals for the high jump. Unfortunately, he decided it was too hot during the finals, and didn't want to jump anymore. There's always next year...

Happy Valentine's Day!

Yesterday was Valentine's Day and we had our first real winter weather. Not quite snow, more of snow mixed with sleet, freezing rain, and lots of ice. Our original plan was to cook a nice dinner at home, but since we lost power for 10 hours, we ate out instead with Yael's family. The house had no heat all day so we had to light up the fireplace and cuddle to keep warm. A true Valentine's experience...

Snowboarding Adventure

We took a trip up to Windham Mountain upstate NY for a day of snowboarding. Olin did really well for his first time!
