Until he tires himself out!

Kobe 4 months

Today, Kobe turned 4 months old and just so happened to roll over from his back to his front for the first time. Yeah!

New York, NY

As you can see, we had a wonderful, quick visit to see Yael's family in New York. Kobe made his debut and was a big hit. The highlights included time with our friends and family, a day at Central Park, and of course, lots of good eating! Thanks to everyone who made the trip so worth it!

Sandy Weekend

What a weekend! Saturday we were busy bees at our Auntie Kelly's house for a day of Pie Baking. Then we went to the Koloa Plantation Days Block Party. We had yummy food, danced to the music, and painted Kobe's face.

Sunday was Tutu's (Olin's gradmother's) funeral. Her entire family celebrated her life together as her ashes were spread at Mahaulepu Beach at sunrise.

Auntie Barbara says a blessing.

Uncle Benny and Adam take Gram out to sea on the kayak.

Some paddled out behind them to watch as the ashes go down.

Some watch from the beach and throw plumeria flowers.

Buddy and Madison got to camp out at the beach.

And Kobe got to spend most of the day napping in the breeze.

Kobe at 2 months

Today Kobe turned 2 months old! He now weighs 12 lbs 5 oz. This past week we went camping at Polihale, swimming at Salt Pond, toured the botanical gardens, saw a bellydance performance in Princeville, spent some time by the pool, and put quite a few more miles on our stroller. Our friend Sara stayed with us for a few days and was a great big help for Mommy. We said goodbye to Nishan, Jenny, and Josiah as they headed back to Germany after a great visit. We love you!
